Faith Erin Hicks is a cartoonist, meaning that of all artists she's the best kind. I discovered her from a funny, cute Wolverine comic you can read here.
You can visit her website to learn about her comic work, and it has a lot of wonderful original art and some nice fanart too. One of my favourites would be of Jade, the heroine from the criminally unappreciated game 'Beyond Good Evil'. Check her out!
